A promise on a bottle is a starting point. Verdict connects study planning, YouCam skin measurements and a clear record of what the data can tell you.
The promise
“Visibly fewer breakouts in just 14 days : for every Indian skin tone.”
Fictional product. Simulated participants. This example shows the workflow, not real product efficacy.
One headline. Four questions.
Keep the original claim, the assumptions and the readout connected. Nothing disappears behind a headline score.
Walk through a sample studyEnter a claim and ingredients. Wording checks identify phrases that need a closer review.
Inspect proposed endpoints, timing, recruitment targets and budget. Qualified review comes before real research.
Guided capture, routine check-ins and YouCam scores connect repeated observations over time.
Compare study arms and inspect the effect, deadline and represented groups. Missing evidence stays visible.
Difference vs control at week 8
See how the product group changes against the usual-routine group, with uncertainty alongside the estimate.
Inspect exploratory subgroup results. Small or missing groups cannot support a promise about everyone.
Skin Simulation blends are measured again by Skin Analysis. Read the log and any mismatch, rather than assume the image predicts a real outcome.
Baseline
A consistent starting point
Record your routine and first measurements.
Weekly check-in
Notice what changes
Keep symptoms and circumstances with the scores.
Review
See the trend in context
An image cannot explain the cause of a flare.
Illustrative workflow. Personal trends do not establish product efficacy.
Track a product you already own, or explore the sample study experience. Keep your photos, routine and changes together in your own workspace.
Adults only. Product fulfillment and rewards are not currently available.
Capture, measure, compare. The integration sits inside a research workflow with inspectable assumptions.
A correct calculation is only one part of good evidence. Our capture experiment used a synthetic face. Human validation, an independently reviewed protocol and a supervised pilot come next.

Breakouts improved 6.5 points vs. usual routine at week 8 (95% CI 4.5 to 8.5, p<0.001).
Not significant at 14 days (week 2: +1.2, p=0.093). An unadjusted weekly comparison crossed the threshold at week 3; this does not confirm onset.
Supported for Fitzpatrick III, IV, V–VI. Untested: I–II (n=4): "every skin tone" needs evidence there too.
